A story of roots

Born from a memory I have carried since childhood.

In our village in Tunisia, my grandfather cared for his olive trees with patience, love, and pride. During my holidays, I would follow him into the fields — learning to pick olives from the trees, and discovering the simple beauty of life close to the land.

When he passed away, those days among the olive trees became some of my most precious memories. I created JIDHOUR — a name that means roots — to keep them alive.

Questions

Asked around the table

Most bottled olive oil is a blend of oils from many farms, regions, and sometimes countries, bottled months after pressing. JIDHOUR comes from a single grove in one Tunisian village, harvested by hand and cold-extracted within hours — so it reaches you as one harvest, from one place, at its freshest.
